Product design that drives activation, retention, and growth.

We are a product design studio specializing in SaaS interfaces and mobile applications for tech founders who need design that performs under real user conditions.

SaaS dashboard interface design

The gap between a beautiful product and one users actually adopt is UX.

Most founders discover this at the wrong moment : after launch, when activation numbers disappoint, when user drop-off happens at the same step every time, when the onboarding flow that seemed intuitive in Figma becomes a support ticket generator in production.

Product design isn't cosmetic. It's the architecture of how users understand, trust, and commit to your product. A well-designed SaaS dashboard reduces cognitive load and drives feature adoption. A well-designed mobile onboarding flow cuts drop-off at the moment of highest intent.

Product Design
for SaaS & Mobile

Brand Appart's product design practice is built for one type of company: high-growth tech startups where the digital product is the business. We combine UX research, interaction design, and UI craft into one integrated process : no handoffs between strategy and execution teams.

A coherent design system means your product team ships consistently at speed : without revisiting foundational decisions every sprint. When the product experience is built with strategic intent, churn goes down, activation goes up, and your NPS follows.

Product design for SaaS & mobile

What we build, from dashboard to design system

SaaS Dashboard & Interface Design

Complex B2B SaaS interfaces designed for clarity and speed. Role-based access flows, data visualization, and multi-step workflows : built to reduce training time and drive feature adoption.

Mobile App Design (iOS & Android)

Native mobile app design for consumer and B2B applications. From app architecture to micro-interactions : including App Store listing assets and onboarding flows optimized for D1 activation.

UX Research & Usability Testing

User interviews, usability testing, and user flow mapping : grounded in real behavior, not assumptions. We build with evidence, not intuition.

Onboarding Flow Design

The onboarding experience is where most SaaS products win or lose their users. We design KYC flows, activation sequences, and progressive disclosure patterns that get users to their "aha moment" faster.

Design System & Figma Handoff

A production-ready component library in Figma : with documented variants, interaction states, and handoff specs your engineering team can implement without a design translator in the room.

What product design
actually moves

Activation improves when onboarding is designed for intent.

The first session determines long-term retention more than any subsequent feature update. We design for that first session.

Churn drops when users navigate complexity without friction.

A well-structured B2B SaaS dashboard eliminates the confusion that drives support tickets, low NPS, and eventual cancellation.

Your engineering team ships faster with a design system.

A production-ready Figma component library means developers aren't making design decisions in code.

Fewer debates. Faster sprints. Less accumulated UX debt per quarter.

Your product pitch becomes self-explanatory.

When investors or enterprise clients see a polished, coherent product UI, the credibility transfer is immediate. Design quality signals execution quality.

Our
Process

How we design products that ship : from discovery to a handoff your engineering team can run with.

See our case studies
(01)

Discovery & UX research

User interviews, competitive landscape mapping, existing product audit, and user flow documentation. We build a shared understanding of where the product breaks before we design a single screen.
(02)

Information architecture & wireframing

Low-fidelity wireframes and user flow diagrams : validated with the founding team before any visual design begins. This is where the product logic gets defined.
(03)

UI design & prototyping

High-fidelity screens in Figma, built on a component system from the first frame. Interactive prototypes for usability testing before development handoff.
(04)

Usability testing & iteration

We test with real users. Not friends of the team. Findings are documented and fed back into the design : cutting post-launch UX debt before it accumulates.

8–14 weeks depending on scope

Design system & handoff included: a complete Figma component library structured for your engineering team. Entry point : from $20,000 USD.

Notez-Nous chose Brand Appart to lead our rebranding project, including a full website and platform redesign. The boost in credibility has significantly improved our ability to close deals
David KatzCEO & Founder @Notez-Nous
We'd seen other agencies lock everything down two rounds of feedback, then pay more. With Brand Appart, the flexibility was real. That's why we chose them. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The rebranding landed exactly where we wanted it to, and the feedback we've gotten externally has been overwhelmingly positive. We're a demanding team, with moving targets and tight timelines. It still went well. That says a lot.
Sébastien TomiCO-Founder & CEO @Mysunbed
We knew Brand Appart's work before reaching out the creativity was obvious. And the final result delivered exactly that. The team adapted to how we work: fast, informal, no unnecessary calls. That made the whole collaboration genuinely smooth. What stood out most was the quality of the output. When we saw the new version, the whole team was back in love with the project. That kind of energy is hard to manufacture it just happened naturally. We're very happy with what was built.
Yoann RosCMO @Bricks
I’ve worked with Brand Appart on multiple projects website development, landing pages for branding, and PowerPoint presentations. I love how flexible, fast, and professional the team is. That speed and agility are exactly what we needed at Ircam Amplify.
Alexis BotayaManaging director @Sound Experience
We had a family brand that hadn't evolved since 2013. Handing it over to an external agency was a real leap of faith. What struck me most is that the team held their ground without ever steamrolling mine. I pushed back on certain directions early on. They stood firm, explained their choices, reassured me and looking back, they were right. Feedback is well received, adjustments are fast, and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working on the project. That makes all the difference. We're now moving into a year-long collaboration.

Frequently
asked questions

What's the difference between UI design and UX design?

UX (user experience) is the architecture : how a product flows, what information appears when, how a user moves from intent to outcome. UI (user interface) is the visual layer that makes that architecture legible and trustworthy. We do both in sequence, because shipping UI without UX is building walls before foundations.

Do you work on existing products or only greenfield projects?

Both. For existing products, we start with a UX audit to identify friction points and design debt before recommending a scope. A full redesign is rarely the right answer : and we'll tell you that if it's true. Targeted, high-leverage interventions often produce better ROI than a blank-page rebuild.

What do we receive at the end of the engagement?

A complete Figma file with all screens, components, documented variants, and interaction states. User flow documentation. Usability testing findings. And a handoff session with your engineering team so nothing gets lost in translation between design and development.

How is working with Brand Appart different from hiring a freelance UX designer?

A senior freelancer handles execution. Brand Appart brings strategic product thinking, research methodology, and a team that has shipped mobile apps, SaaS dashboards, KYC flows, and design systems at growth stage : with the documentation and process discipline that a solo designer rarely provides. The output is institutional, not personal.

Can you work within our existing design system?

Yes. Many engagements involve extending or refactoring an existing Figma library rather than starting from scratch. We audit what's there, document what's missing, and build from an informed baseline.
