Community platform

Where pets bring people together.

Pet-sitting today is dominated by transactional platforms, fast, optimized, and stripped of human contact. Nomador stands on the opposite side: a community where owners and travelers exchange homes, care, and trust around their animals.

After ten years, the brand existed in usage but barely on the surface, too vague to run a campaign, a flyer, or a landing page. The challenge was clear: make a warm, sincere brand feel credible and memorable, without ever betraying a loyal, mature community attached to its history.

The challenge

Clarify the promise

Ten years of usage, zero surface. The brand couldn't carry a campaign, a flyer or a landing page on its own.

Warm up the look

Feel sincere and human in a category racing towards transactional coldness, without becoming naive.

Reassure the community

A loyal, mature member base attached to its history. Evolution had to feel like recognition, not replacement.

Brand Strategy

Not a service. A circle of trust.

Brand Appart partnered with Nomador to sharpen its positioning and build a brand identity that finally matches what the platform already lives. We had to clarify the promise, warm up the look, and reassure long-time members at once.

Brand Identity

Animals back at the heart

The identity puts animals back at the heart of the brand and keeps a visual echo of its history. Warm but composed, distinctive yet scalable, a system built to grow into new community services without losing its soul.

Deliverable

A brand that ships

The identity extends into the real world, campaign, social and product touchpoints, turning a simple service into a lasting circle of trust, and a system ready to grow into new community services.

Result

A year-long partnership, not a one-off rebrand.

What started as a three-month brand sprint in 2025 became a year-long collaboration covering activation and product design. Nomador came out of it with a system it can keep extending, one that grows into new community services without losing what its members recognise.

Testimonial

We had a family brand that hadn't evolved since 2013. Handing it over to an external agency was a real leap of faith. What struck me most is that the team held their ground without ever steamrolling mine. I pushed back on certain directions early on. They stood firm, explained their choices, reassured me and looking back, they were right. Feedback is well received, adjustments are fast, and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working on the project. That makes all the difference. We're now moving into a year-long collaboration.

Questions
we actually get

What does Nomador do?

Nomador is a pet-sitting community where owners and travellers exchange homes and care around their animals. Unlike transactional marketplaces, members meet, talk and build trust before a stay. The platform has been running for over ten years.

Why rebrand a platform that was already working?

The platform worked, the brand didn't exist. After ten years the identity lived in usage but had almost no surface: it couldn't carry a campaign, a flyer or a landing page on its own. The rebrand gave a working business something it could actually communicate with.

What did Brand Appart deliver?

Positioning and brand strategy, a full visual identity with a 16-colour system, brand guidelines, product design and the website, plus the applied layer: email templates, flyers, illustrations and a set of reusable social media formats the team runs itself.

How do you rebrand without losing a loyal community?

By treating it as recognition rather than replacement. A mature member base is attached to its history, so the identity keeps a visual echo of what came before and warms it up instead of erasing it. Members should recognise the brand, not have to relearn it.

How long did the project run?

It started as a three-month brand sprint in 2025 and became a year-long collaboration covering activation and product design, with the new site going live in April 2026.
