Abstract visual of a decentralized finance interface

Web3 design has one problem: it looks like Web3. We fix that.

We design Web3 products, DeFi interfaces, and blockchain brand identities for founders whose technology is groundbreaking but whose UX hasn't caught up yet.

The biggest barrier to Web3 adoption isn't the tech. It's the UX.

Most Web3 products are built by developers for developers. The interface assumes knowledge of wallet connections, gas fees, transaction confirmations, and on-chain state : concepts that are completely opaque to the mainstream user who would actually benefit from the product.

The result: exceptional technology with a 2% addressable market because the other 98% bounced from the onboarding screen.

Brand Appart designs Web3 products from the user's perspective, not the blockchain's. We've shipped DeFi interfaces, NFT platforms, DAO tooling, and crypto wallet products for founders who understood that the design layer wasn't decoration : it was the difference between a product with network effects and a product with a Discord of 400 developers.

What We Build forWeb3 Founders

DeFi & Wallet Interface Design

Swap interfaces, liquidity pool dashboards, staking flows, and wallet management : designed for users who understand DeFi and for users who are encountering it for the first time. Both audiences matter. Both deserve clarity.

NFT Platform & Marketplace Design

Minting interfaces, marketplace UX, creator dashboards, and collection presentation : built for the emotional purchase decision that NFT transactions require, not the technical one.

Web3 Brand Identity & Positioning

Brand identity for blockchain projects that need to earn credibility in two audiences simultaneously: crypto-native users who are skeptical by default, and mainstream users who need to be reassured from first contact.

DAO & Governance Interface Design

Proposal creation, voting mechanisms, treasury management, and community dashboards : designed for collective decision-making at scale.

Notez-Nous chose Brand Appart to lead our rebranding project, including a full website and platform redesign. The boost in credibility has significantly improved our ability to close deals

We'd seen other agencies lock everything down two rounds of feedback, then pay more. With Brand Appart, the flexibility was real. That's why we chose them. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The rebranding landed exactly where we wanted it to, and the feedback we've gotten externally has been overwhelmingly positive. We're a demanding team, with moving targets and tight timelines. It still went well. That says a lot.

We knew Brand Appart's work before reaching out the creativity was obvious. And the final result delivered exactly that. The team adapted to how we work: fast, informal, no unnecessary calls. That made the whole collaboration genuinely smooth. What stood out most was the quality of the output. When we saw the new version, the whole team was back in love with the project. That kind of energy is hard to manufacture it just happened naturally. We're very happy with what was built.

I’ve worked with Brand Appart on multiple projects website development, landing pages for branding, and PowerPoint presentations. I love how flexible, fast, and professional the team is. That speed and agility are exactly what we needed at Ircam Amplify.

We had a family brand that hadn't evolved since 2013. Handing it over to an external agency was a real leap of faith. What struck me most is that the team held their ground without ever steamrolling mine. I pushed back on certain directions early on. They stood firm, explained their choices, reassured me and looking back, they were right. Feedback is well received, adjustments are fast, and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working on the project. That makes all the difference. We're now moving into a year-long collaboration.

Frequently
asked questions

Do you understand blockchain-specific UX challenges like wallet connection flows and transaction states?

Yes. Wallet connect flows (MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet), transaction pending states, gas fee communication, and on-chain confirmation UX are patterns we've designed for across multiple Web3 products. The complexity is understood : the design makes it navigable.

Can you design for both crypto-native and mainstream audiences?

That's the core challenge in most Web3 products. We design for both simultaneously : with progressive disclosure patterns that give advanced users full control and new users a guided path to their first on-chain action without overwhelming them.

Do you have experience with the visual language conventions of the crypto market?

Yes : and we deliberately push beyond them when the brief calls for it. The "dark mode, gradient, sans-serif" aesthetic of most crypto products is a default, not a requirement. Stables was positioned specifically against that aesthetic to reach a mainstream audience.

Your Web3 product deserves UX as advanced as its technology.
