A brand system structured for AI tools

A Brand Brain your team, and every AI tool it uses, can work from.

Brand Appart turns your positioning, voice, approved claims and visual identity into one source of truth, installed in ChatGPT, Claude and Figma and kept in sync as the company changes. What your team produces with AI starts on-brand, instead of waiting for a designer to rewrite it.

Your team already creates with AI. Your brand isn't in the prompt.

Marketing drafts posts in ChatGPT, sales builds decks with AI, product writes interface copy with an assistant. Each tool starts from zero, with no idea how your company sounds, which claims are approved, or which colors are yours. The output is fast and generic, and the brand drifts a little further with every asset.

Brand guidelines do not fix this on their own. They were written as PDFs for designers who interpret intent, and AI tools apply them unevenly. A Brand Brain is the same brand rebuilt in a form a machine can follow: rules written as examples, the voice as a reference set, the visual identity as tokens in code, and approvals written down.

What goes into
a Brand Brain

A Brand Brain is a structured set of brand documents and rules that AI tools can use directly. We build it from your positioning, audiences, messaging, product facts, approved claims, tone of voice and visual identity. Then we install it where your team already works: Claude projects, custom GPTs, your Figma library, and your codebase as design tokens. It is the brand-locked setup our AI creative team works from, built for your own team.

If the brand itself is not settled yet, the work starts with brand strategy and brand identity. If it is, we structure what already exists. We explain the method in AI product design in practice and in how we scale design systems with Figma, Claude and GitHub.

The four layers of a Brand Brain

One brand, readable by people and machines

Brand Knowledge Base

Positioning, audiences, messaging, product facts and approved claims, written as structured documents an AI can quote accurately. It replaces the dozen slide decks where the brand used to live.

Voice & Tone, as Examples

Your voice defined the way models learn it: on-brand and off-brand versions of the same sentence, a reference set of headlines, emails and error messages, and the words you never use.

Visual Identity in Code

Colors, typography, spacing and components as design tokens shared by Figma and your codebase, so AI-generated screens and assets use your real identity.

AI Tools, Set Up and Governed

Claude projects, custom GPTs, prompt libraries and skills configured with your Brand Brain, plus the rules: what may be generated, what may not, and who approves it.

What changes with
a Brand Brain

First drafts start on-brand.

Marketing, sales and product start from the same brand context in every AI tool.

Fewer rewrites, and fewer "that is not how we talk" comments.

The brand drifts far less.

New hires, freelancers and partners get the brand in one place, ready to load into their own tools.

Consistency no longer depends on one person reviewing everything.

You own it, in your own tools.

The Brand Brain lives in your Claude, ChatGPT, Figma and repository, not inside an agency platform.

If you change tools or partners, it comes with you.

It keeps up with the company.

We name an owner on your side and hand over a simple update routine.

When the product or the positioning changes, the Brand Brain changes with it.

How we
Build it

From scattered guidelines to a brand every AI tool starts from.

See our case studies
(01)

Brand audit

We gather what exists (guidelines, decks, site, product copy, past campaigns) and map what is clear, what contradicts itself, and what is missing.
(02)

Brand Brain build

We write the knowledge base (approved claims included) and the voice reference set, and turn the visual identity into design tokens.
(03)

Tool setup and testing

We install it in the tools your team already uses and test it on real tasks: a launch post, a sales email, a landing page, an ad set.
(04)

Handoff and governance

Usage rules, an owner on your side and an update routine, so the Brand Brain stays true as the company changes.

Notez-Nous chose Brand Appart to lead our rebranding project, including a full website and platform redesign. The boost in credibility has significantly improved our ability to close deals
David KatzCEO & Founder @Notez-Nous
We'd seen other agencies lock everything down two rounds of feedback, then pay more. With Brand Appart, the flexibility was real. That's why we chose them. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The rebranding landed exactly where we wanted it to, and the feedback we've gotten externally has been overwhelmingly positive. We're a demanding team, with moving targets and tight timelines. It still went well. That says a lot.

We knew Brand Appart's work before reaching out the creativity was obvious. And the final result delivered exactly that. The team adapted to how we work: fast, informal, no unnecessary calls. That made the whole collaboration genuinely smooth. What stood out most was the quality of the output. When we saw the new version, the whole team was back in love with the project. That kind of energy is hard to manufacture it just happened naturally. We're very happy with what was built.

I’ve worked with Brand Appart on multiple projects website development, landing pages for branding, and PowerPoint presentations. I love how flexible, fast, and professional the team is. That speed and agility are exactly what we needed at Ircam Amplify.

We had a family brand that hadn't evolved since 2013. Handing it over to an external agency was a real leap of faith. What struck me most is that the team held their ground without ever steamrolling mine. I pushed back on certain directions early on. They stood firm, explained their choices, reassured me and looking back, they were right. Feedback is well received, adjustments are fast, and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working on the project. That makes all the difference. We're now moving into a year-long collaboration.

Frequently
asked questions

What is a Brand Brain?

A Brand Brain is a structured, machine-readable version of your brand: positioning, audiences, messaging, approved claims, tone of voice and visual identity, organized so AI tools can use it as context. Installed in tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Figma, it lets anyone on the team produce on-brand content with AI without rebuilding the brand context in every prompt.

How is a Brand Brain different from brand guidelines?

Brand guidelines describe the brand for people who can interpret intent. A Brand Brain encodes it for tools that need explicit rules and examples: rules become examples, the voice becomes a reference set, colors and type become design tokens in code, and usage rules say what AI may generate and who approves it. The guidelines stay; the Brand Brain becomes the version your tools work from.

Which AI tools does a Brand Brain work with?

Any tool that accepts context: Claude (projects and skills), ChatGPT (custom GPTs and projects), Gemini, AI features in design tools like Figma, and coding assistants that read design tokens from your repository. We set it up in the tools your team already uses rather than adding a new platform.

How is this different from a platform-based brand brain?

Some creative services now include a brand brain inside their own platform, where it powers their production workflow. Ours is built to be owned: it lives in your tools, your own team uses it every day, and it stays yours if you change partners. When we produce work for you through our AI creative team, we work from the same Brand Brain.

Do we need a rebrand before building a Brand Brain?

No. If your positioning and identity are solid, we structure what exists. If the audit shows contradictions (three versions of the value proposition, a voice nobody agrees on), we fix those first, because an AI tool will reproduce every inconsistency you feed it, at scale.

Who owns the Brand Brain?

You do, entirely: the documents, the prompt libraries, the design tokens and the tool configurations. Everything is delivered in your own accounts and repository.
