Your brand is the first thing investors, users, and competitors can't un-see.

We build visual identity systems and brand strategy for tech founders whose mobile app or SaaS is the core of their business : from positioning and naming to the full design system your team ships from.

Brand identity system spread

Most startups launch with a brand. Few launch with a brand system.

There's a version of your company that raises faster, converts better, and commands premium positioning in a crowded market. Then there's the version that launched with a logo from a freelancer, an inconsistent visual language across app, deck, and site, and a brand that doesn't reflect where the company is actually going.

A brand identity isn't a deliverable : it's an operating system for how your company presents itself at every touchpoint: product onboarding, pitch deck, App Store listing, press coverage, investor materials. When that system is built with precision, everything downstream gets easier. When it's missing, everything costs more.

Brand Identity
& Strategy :

Built for Mobile-First Companies

Brand Appart specializes in brand identity and brand strategy for high-growth tech companies where the mobile app or digital product is the business. Our work sits at the intersection of visual craft and strategic rigor : we don't separate the two.

We work with founders at inflection points: pre-launch, pre-Series A, post-PMF rebranding, and international expansion. At each stage, the brief is the same : build a brand that performs under real conditions.

Built for mobile-first companies

Brand identity &
strategy, where
craft and
rigor don't separate

Brand Strategy

Positioning, competitive landscape mapping, brand architecture, messaging framework, tone of voice. The strategic foundation before a single pixel is placed.

Visual Identity System

Logo system, color palette, typography, iconography, motion principles, and illustration direction. Built for scalability : from app icon to billboard.

Brand Guidelines & Figma Kit

A production-ready brand guidelines document and Figma component library your product and marketing teams can execute from day one : no dependency on the agency.

Naming & Brand Audit

For companies at a strategic pivot point: naming architecture, brand audit of existing equity, and rebranding roadmap when the old identity no longer fits where you're going.

What changes when
your brand is built right

Investors read your deck differently.

A professional, coherent visual identity signals that the team behind the product is serious.

It doesn't close rounds : but it removes the friction that delays them.

Your app converts at the top of the funnel.

When the brand is coherent before the first tap, onboarding friction drops.

First impressions happen before the onboarding flow.

Your team ships faster, with fewer debates.

A Figma-ready design system and clear brand guidelines eliminate the recurring "is this on-brand?" conversation.

One source of truth, permanently.

You own the system. We don't stay in the loop forever.

Brand Appart delivers self-sufficient teams.

Every engagement ends with documentation your designers, developers, and marketing team can execute from independently.

Discovery & brand audit

We map where you sit today: existing brand equity, competitive landscape, ICP perception gaps, and strategic opportunities. This is where the positioning work begins.
(02)

Brand strategy

Positioning statement, brand architecture, messaging hierarchy, tone of voice framework, and naming if in scope. The brief your designers will execute against.
(03)

Visual identity design

From concept to final visual identity system : logo, color, type, motion direction, and core brand assets. Presented in 2 directions, refined to 1.
(04)

Systemization & handoff

Brand guidelines documentation, Figma component library, and a live handoff session with your team. The engagement doesn't end at delivery : it ends when your team can run without us.

6–10 weeks to launch your brand

Scope-dependent. We take a limited number of mandates per quarter. Entry point : from $20,000 USD.

Notez-Nous chose Brand Appart to lead our rebranding project, including a full website and platform redesign. The boost in credibility has significantly improved our ability to close deals
David KatzCEO & Founder @Notez-Nous
We'd seen other agencies lock everything down two rounds of feedback, then pay more. With Brand Appart, the flexibility was real. That's why we chose them. The quality of the work speaks for itself. The rebranding landed exactly where we wanted it to, and the feedback we've gotten externally has been overwhelmingly positive. We're a demanding team, with moving targets and tight timelines. It still went well. That says a lot.

We knew Brand Appart's work before reaching out the creativity was obvious. And the final result delivered exactly that. The team adapted to how we work: fast, informal, no unnecessary calls. That made the whole collaboration genuinely smooth. What stood out most was the quality of the output. When we saw the new version, the whole team was back in love with the project. That kind of energy is hard to manufacture it just happened naturally. We're very happy with what was built.

I’ve worked with Brand Appart on multiple projects website development, landing pages for branding, and PowerPoint presentations. I love how flexible, fast, and professional the team is. That speed and agility are exactly what we needed at Ircam Amplify.

We had a family brand that hadn't evolved since 2013. Handing it over to an external agency was a real leap of faith. What struck me most is that the team held their ground without ever steamrolling mine. I pushed back on certain directions early on. They stood firm, explained their choices, reassured me and looking back, they were right. Feedback is well received, adjustments are fast, and you can tell the team genuinely enjoys working on the project. That makes all the difference. We're now moving into a year-long collaboration.

Frequently
asked questions

What's the difference between brand identity and brand strategy?

Brand strategy defines where your startup sits in the market and why it matters to the right audience. Brand identity is how that strategy becomes visible : your visual language, tone, and system. We do both, in sequence, because identity without strategy is decoration that doesn't convert.

When does a startup need a rebrand?

Typically at three moments: post-product-market fit (when the original brand no longer reflects the company), pre-Series A (when the brand needs to earn investor credibility at scale), or during international expansion (when the identity needs to travel without explanation). If your current brand was built before you really understood your ICP, that's a signal.

How is Brand Appart different from a generalist creative agency?

We work exclusively with tech founders and mobile-first companies. Our design systems are built for digital products first : App Store, product UI, pitch deck : not print-first assets retrofitted for screens. Every designer on our team has shipped for SaaS and mobile products at growth stage.

What do I actually receive at the end of the engagement?

A complete visual identity system (logo suite, color, type, motion principles), brand guidelines PDF, Figma component library, and a documented brand strategy brief. Everything structured so your team has full autonomy the day after handoff.

Do you work with pre-revenue startups?

Yes : with caveats. Pre-revenue engagements work best when the product direction is clear and the founding team has conviction about their ICP. If you're still pivoting on the core use case, we'll tell you to wait. Brand investment before product clarity is overhead, not leverage.
